THE CAMP LEJEUNE JUSTICE ACT OF 2022 is a bi-partisan supported bill that allows for victims suffering as a result of contaminated Camp Lejeune water, to pursue legal action against the United States Government.

The United States Marine Corps discovered the VOC toxic chemicals in the drinking water at the Camp Lejeune Base in North Carolina in 1982. It was also discovered that the contamination began in 1953, 29 years prior, and existed until the ‘most contaminated wells’ were removed in 1985.
