- Moderate TBI: The victim loses consciousness for anywhere between a few seconds to a few hours. They will have lasting impairments that range from a few weeks to the rest of their lives.
- Severe Brain Injury: These are life threatening and result from crushing or piercing blows to the head. These permanently change the victim and can lead to epilepsy and Alzheimer’s.
